I am taking Atlanta for the first quarter and the first half. The Patriots have been slow starters in the Super Bowl. In fact, the New England Patriots have not scored a single point in the first quarter of their last six Super Bowls! That is amazing. The Falcons led the NFL in first quarter points this year and they are usually fast starters. I think Atlanta is going to control the first half of this game. But I think that Bill Belichick could make some halftime adjustments. By betting the game this way we don't have to worry about Atlanta holding onto a lead. That is something they have had trouble with in the playoffs with Matt Ryan under center. That includes them blowing a 20-0 lead in a Divisional Game against Seattle and a 17-0 lead against San Francisco in the NFC Championship Game both in the 2013 season, their last playoff appearance. The Falcons were up 19-10 at the half against Seattle and 24-0 against Green Bay in their two playoff games this year. I think that Atlanta is going to be very well prepared in this game and I think that they are going to battle with the Patriots in the first two quarters. I will take the points in both and if Atlanta has the lead or is tied at the end of the first quarter or at halftime then these bets win.

I am looking for a big game out of Matt Ryan. He should be the MVP of the regular season and he has put up amazing numbers this year. Tom Brady has not had many big games in the Super Bowl. He has only averaged 261 yards in his 33 career playoff games and only averaged 267 yards in his six career Super Bowls. Matt Ryan has averaged 280 yards passing per game in his seven career playoff games. Ryan has thrown for 338 and 392 yards in his two playoff games this year and has averaged an amazing 375 yards in his last three playoff games! Ryan has averaged 309 passing yards per game this year. If New England does win this game then Ryan will be playing from behind and will have to throw the ball a lot.
